Skully shoots with Vice Magazine

DSC_0021.jpg

Last week Skully was filmed at our HQ for a documentary with Vice Magazine on the future of racing. The Skully team discussed a new Formula 1 racing helmet technology we are developing. We also discussed what the future may hold for human computer integration. We had a great time talking about what lies ahead in the wearable computing and wearable display space, as well as our vision for Skully Synapse, our smart display platform.

DSC_0074.jpg

It seems we are at an inflection point as an industry. Head mounted displays and the smart systems that drive them are positioned to be our generations defining innovations. They fundamentally change how we experience our world, making us more aware, and helping us do things that wouldn't otherwise be possible. Technology has finally reached a point where it is with us, working on our behalf to be our second set of eyes, ears, and even synapses. With wearable technology, we can solve problems that were previously unsolvable. This is an extraordinary time to be in Silicon Valley.

Look for the Vice Magazine documentary to air on http://www.vice.com/video in early November.
